Solitude

The best thing for me about seascape photography is the infinite opportunities created by shifting sand and tide. I have recently witnessed whole areas of sand completely washed away revealing nothing but rock and shingle only to be dumped back, only in greater amounts days later. The fresh water running through the beach to the sea changes route on every tide turn, and you may find a superb pool on one occasion and never see it in the same place ever again!
